Launda was a godsend to our family after my husband received a devastating cancer diagnosis. My husband was at once experiencing significant physical pain and encountering an emotional roller coaster of emotions in facing advanced cancer that was deemed treatable but not curable. He was not interested in group or talk therapy, but knew he would benefit from learning more about how he could manage his pain and emotions. Lucky for us, a friend recommend Launda and she began visits to our home to talk with Brian and share some of her knowledge in meditation, yoga, and other pain relief measures. Because of her exceptional listening skills and experiences in treating cancer patients, Launda brought deep empathy and care immediately creating a circle of trust between herself and my husband. He was able to share fears and concerns and she was able to help him understood how those same emotions manifested in his body and how we could gain control and work with the emotions rather than allow them to overcome him. He also learned a variety of meditation and pain control practices that helped him sleep better and manage the chronic pain he was experiencing.

Launda helped us feel less alone, helped us see light through a very dark time, and all with practical, easy, and accessible practices. I know of her experience one-on-one and have had the pleasure of seeing her work with small and large groups. She is a tireless advocate for the whole person attaining full health and inner peace.

Our global team members greatly appreciated Launda's stress management insights and exercises which she shared during our semi-annual meetings, providing us with valuable tools to utilize daily to suppress the stress of our highly demanding and fast paced corporate schedules.” "She also provided valuable meditation and stress management consultation with my wife in support of her whole health treatment of stage four breast cancer.

It was my pleasure to have had the opportunity to take a class facilitated by Launda. Launda's presentation included large group discussions, small break-out sessions, as well as individual reflection. Her use of non-traditional training aids e.g. peacock feather drove home an approach in dealing with competing priorities...priceless! I work for the federal government in such a time as now. Launda's training provides balance to employees and managers. The information is useful in my professional and personal life-2 for 1 training, you can't beat that!!!

Hey Launda, I just wanted to tell you that Friday, I felt amazing. I felt re-energized, more focused, and even my guests could tell I was in a great mood. I was not able to complete the 2 minutes yesterday, however I did just finish for today. I started with two minutes, but it just didn't seem like enough, so I did ten. Lol. It felt long but ended shortly after I had that feeling. I am utilizing the breathing even when I'm driving to and from work and just turned off the radio to enjoy the silence. Thank you smile emoticon see you next week!

I am compelled to write you to say how impactful your mindfulness and yoga sessions were to our students and staff at Ceeley Cottage, Starr Commonwealth. One of the challenges of working with young adults on the autistic spectrum is helping them to find a balance, a sense of peace and their inner voice. Honestly, in your short time working with our students I saw things I had never seen or known they were capable of. The children still ask about you and work to control their breathing.
I want to thank you for changing our lives and opening up our minds. I personally, see mindfulness, yoga and the like being an absolute necessity for the children in the upcoming generation.

When I was at Albion, I loved every minute of it, but it was stressful. Getting to go to the open evening yoga helped me relax and deal with the stress of being a double major on a fast track to graduate early. When I finally had the opportunity to take one of your yoga classes, it was the highlight of my day to get to go in, stretch out, and learn to take care of myself.

My degree in psychology helped me learn about people - but it was your yoga classes that helped me decide that therapy, in particular mind-body therapy, was the direction I wanted to go in for my career. It was a launching point, and from there I've changed my own outlook on stress and self-care, and learned how to be more self-aware; these are lessons that you taught me, and that I've carried on to teach my clients that come in to my office every single day.

I can also speak from personal experience, outside of my career, that learning yoga was so important for me - I had 3 major hip surgeries after graduating from Albion, and my consistent practice of yoga helped me to stay centered and focused, to regain my mobility back faster, and to stay calm through a stressful healing process.

I personally still practice yoga. There have been times when I practiced rarely, and times when I practiced daily. I first started yoga with you because I thought it would be a good work out. I realized that yoga was so much more than that. Yoga taught me that my body was strong and capable. It allowed me a deeper meditative connection that weathered me through terrible times in my life. Yoga is more than exercise. Going to yoga for me is like going to church for some. I go in order to grow my sense of compassion, love and inner peace.
